This morning was exciting. We woke up early to have practice at Stanford's softball field.

When we arrived on campus all the NCAA Regional Tournament signs were already hung and memories from attending previous NCAA tournaments were reminiscing through my head.

It was early when we arrived at the field and the feeling of the cold air and the smell of the wet grass made it surreal. We started practice with a brand new box of softballs with the fresh logo of NCAA tournament printed on each ball.

The NCAA representative came down on the field and told us that starting then we had an hour and half to be on the field and no more. It all felt so official, like we were big league players.

We had a great practice; everyone was communicating well and you could tell everyone was excited.

After practice we all went our separate ways to get lunch, and when we got back to the hotel most of the team headed for the pool. We spent a few hours at the pool having a good time in the water and laying out in the sun, true Hawaiian style.

After the pool, some of the girls went golfing at a mini golf course and then grabbed dinner. The other girls went to walk around the quaint town our hotel is in.

Tomorrow starts a new chapter in the journey we have been on, and we are ready. Everyone has that excited nervous feeling, which is a good feeling for our team. When that feeling is lurking is when our team comes out to play hard and ready to win.

I know everyone is excited, but I never let the team feel satisfied with just happy to be here, we want to win, and that all starts tomorrow.
