Seabury Hall stops Pahoa for state boys Division II volleyball title

Dylan Hamilton put down 17 kills and Connor Snow added 13 to lead No. 5 Seabury Hall past 10th-ranked Pahoa in the title match of the Hawai'i High School Athletic Association/New City Nissan Division II Boys Volleyball State Championships tonight at McKinley's Student Council Gymnasium. The scores were 19-25, 25-16, 25-8 and 25-18.

The Spartans, champions of the Maui Interscholast League, finished the season with a perfect 12-0 record. The Daggers, the Big Island Interscholastic Federation champ, dropped to 16-5.

Libero Josh Sutherland had a team-high 10 digs for Seabury and setter Holden Awong recorded 43 assits. Pahoa's Isaiah Ekau led all players with 20 kills.
