PGA Free Lesson Month is back but with a new twist: Free Family Golf Clinics.

In addition to individual free 10-minute golf lessons given by PGA and LPGA Professionals, several facilities will host free family golf clinics, giving families the opportunity to learn and participate together.

To find a local course, go to www.PlayGolfAmerica.com, click on PGA Free Lesson Month and insert your ZIP code. A list of participating PGA/LPGA professionals, along with Family Golf Clinics, will be listed.

Anyone who takes a free lesson and registers at www.PlayGolfAmerica.com/FLM could win a two-day/two-night golf getaway to The PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance in Port St. Lucie, Fla., including hotel accommodations, round-trip, economy airfare, and a custom-fit set of golf clubs.

Anna DePalma, of San Clemente, Calif., has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the University of Hawai'i next season, coach Lori Castillo announced. DePalma is the third golfer to join the Rainbow Wahine for the upcoming season.

DePalma is a four-time all-league performer and team captain her last three seasons. She is also a four-time scholar-athlete award winner. As a senior, she won the CIF Southern Section Individual Championship and placed 10th at the CIF Regional competition. She was named Most Valuable Player of the South Coast League and second team all-county. In her junior career, she has two wins and six top-10 finishes.

Maryssa Shigesato of Mililani and Madeleine Ystrom of Sweden signed with UH earlier.
