NEW YORK — "Glee" star Lea Michele is joining Brazil's president and Lady Gaga as one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people, in the issue on newsstands now.

The 23-year-old plays annoyingly ambitious Rachel Berry on the Fox network hit show, a role that garnered her a Golden Globe nomination.

On Tuesday, Michele will announce the 64th annual Tony nominations along with Jeff Daniels. She's played on Broadway in "Spring Awakening" and has also been in "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Les Miserables."

IMAGINE BEYONCE IN SCHUYLKILL COUNTY

NEW RINGGOLD, Pa. — Beyonce and Jay-Z are moving to Schuylkill County, Pa.!

That's the rumor swirling around these parts: That the singer and her rap mogul husband, Grammy Award winners both, are planning to buy a multimillion-dollar spread on 210 secluded acres in eastern Pennsylvania.

What began as idle gossip has turned into an article of faith among many here.

No one seems to know how the rumor got started. No deed has been recorded in the courthouse, no real estate transfer tax has been paid, and the celebs have yet to request a showing, according to the real estate agent listing the house. But the gossip persists, supercharged by unconfirmed sightings of Beyonce at several businesses.

DRUG CHARGE AGAINST PHILLIPS DROPPED

LOS ANGELES — A drug charge against Mackenzie Phillips was dismissed Friday after the television actress successfully completed a drug diversion program.

Phillips, 50, appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom for a final hearing in the case. She had pleaded guilty in 2008 to a felony drug possession charge and agreed to enter drug treatment, after being arrested two months earlier by airport screeners.

In a video posted on the celebrity website TMZ.com, Phillips is seen telling the judge the case changed her life.

Phillips had a history of drug abuse and was fired from the TV series "One Day at a Time" in 1982. She claimed in a memoir last year that she had a decade-long incestuous sexual relationship with her father, pop star John Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas.

BACH'S HUSBAND DIES IN APPARENT SUICIDE

LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles authorities say the attorney husband of actress Catherine Bach has been found dead in an apparent suicide.

Coroner's office officials said entertainment attorney Peter Lopez died Friday at his home in the Encino Hills. They said a neighbor reported hearing a gunshot and that someone at the home found Lopez's body.

Bach played Daisy Duke in the 1980s TV series "The Dukes of Hazzard." She and Lopez have two young daughters.
