Still figuring how to use your Mac? Itching to learn about the newest gadgets? Want to take better pictures? Check all these off your to-do list — and get in touch with your inner geek — at SpringFest 2010, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. today at Kapi'olani Community College's Ohia Building.
The Hawai'i Macintosh and Apple Users' Society, the Professional Photographers of Hawai'i and KCC are sponsoring the event, where you can learn about the latest Apple products, photography and mobile communication, presented by Apple, Lighthaus Camera, professional photographers, Apple Magic and HMAUS members.
Free workshops include learning how to use new Apple products, such as the iPad (enter to win one at the event), new MacBooks and iApps; managing your music, libraries and podcasts; and exploring the world of MobileMe, Skype and iChat. There will also be a swap meet where you can buy, sell or trade your old or excess cameras and gear. Free 4G Clear Wi-Fi courtesy of HI Communications will allow you to tweet your finds. Free.
