Pacific Office Properties Trust Inc. has named a new president and chief executive officer, filling the position with a top executive from The Shidler Group, which formed Pacific Office two years ago.
Shidler partner James Ingebritsen was named to lead Pacific Office today, and also becomes a board director of the real estate investment trust that is based in Los Angeles and owns office buildings in Honolulu.
Ingebritsen’s appointment follows the August departure of former president and CEO Dallas Lucas, whose employment agreement expired. Over the last seven months, company Chairman Jay Shidler had served as interim president and CEO.
Ingebritsen is a major shareholder and co-founder of Pacific Office, and also is an owner and director of Shidler Group affiliate Pacific Office Management Inc., which externally manages Pacific Office.
Ingebritsen joined Honolulu-based Shidler Group in 1987, rose through the corporate ranks in the company’s San Diego office and was named partner in 1996 to become responsible for the acquisition, financing and disposition of over $4 billion of commercial real estate.
