Two of Hawai'is renowned kumu lau hala (teachers of hala-frond weaving) are offering a four-day intensive workshop March 26-29 at the Academy Art Center at Linekona.

The teachers are Gwen Kamisugi and Lora Pacheco and classes will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 26-29.
Participants may select half-day ($55) or full-day ($80) sessions or enroll for the entire series ($280). For full-day enrollees, lunch and a snack are included each day. In addition, there are material fee.s
