Wastewater spill in Pearl City entered Waiawa Stream

The state Department of Health’s Clean Water Branch says it has been notified by the city of a wastewater spill at 1274 Hooli Place in Pearl City.
About 200 gallons entered a storm drain and made its way to Waiawa Stream.
Warning signs will be posted and the public is advised to stay out of Waiawa Stream through the weekend.
