Honolulu firefighters helped a 64-year-old female hiker with non-life-threatening injuries who was hurt around noon yesterday on the Lanikai Pill Box trail.

Firefighters hiked from the trailhead near Mid Pacific Country Club and found the woman about 200 yards from the first pillbox, the Honolulu Fire Department said.

The woman was airlifted to a landing zone at Lanikai Community Park.
