Camera crews from a French television show and the E! network are in Honolulu to follow Duane “Dog” Chapman, star of A&E’s highest-rated series, “Dog the Bounty Hunter.”

According to publicist Mona Wood, Chapman met Monday with crews for Match Point Production, which produces shows for France's M6 television network, as one stop in filming a special on Hawaii.
Chapman and wife Beth also met with a production team from E! who are filming an “E! Hollywood True Story” episode on Chapman, scheduled to air May 19. The crew will be filming all week.
On Saturday, March 13, Chapman begins a 13-week tour for his second book, "Where Mercy is Shown, Mercy is Given." His first appearance will be at the CenterStage at Kahala Mall, beginning at 2 p.m.
“We always kick-off and end our book tours at home in Hawaii,” said Chapman, in a statement. “Hawaii is getting the first copies of the book, too, before they are available everywhere else on March 16. Hawaii is special.”
“Dog the Bounty Hunter” airs Wednesday nights in the U.S. on A&E, and also airs internationally in syndication.
