A 12-year-old boy has reported being sexually assaulted by two boys who attend the same elementary school in Kailua.

The boy who filed the complaint said the two other boys, ages 10 and 11, restrained him one day in late December or early January and assaulted him.
Although the boy who filed the complaint is acquainted with the two younger boys because of the school connection, the alleged incident did not occur on school grounds, police said.
The two younger boys were arrested on suspicion of first-degree sexual assault and kidnapping and were later released to their parents pending further investigation.
