The Hawaii Performing Arts Festival and broadcaster Howard Dicus present "A Light Hearted Look at Classical Music" at the University of Hawai'i's Orvis Auditorium, tomorrow at 4 p.m.

Dicus, formerly a music columnist, will chronicle the history of classical music — from Mozart to Madonna — complete with brief musical illustrations. Honolulu Symphony's Ignace "Iggy" Jang will perform with string quartet Green Sneakers, as will Ben Gutierrez on synthesizer. Gutierrez is currently a reporter and weather anchor for Hawaii News Now, as well as an occasional songwriter and musician.

General admission is $20, $10 for students and seniors. Call 95-MUSIC to reserve tickets.
