Two Oscar-nominated films screening at HIFF Spring Festival

Two films nominated for Oscars will be part of the Hawaii International Film Festival’ Spring Showcase April 16-22, HIFF officials announced today.

“Ajami,” a film from Israel, was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film and the “Most Dangerous Man in America,” nominated for Best Documentary, will be screening. Also confirmed for the spring festival are “The Girl with Dragon Tattoo” and “Good Rain Knows,” from Sweden and South Korea, respectively.
The 82nd Academy Awards are held this Sunday.
HIFF’s Spring Showcase is held at Regal Dole Cannery Stadium 18 Theaters.
Tickets go on sale for HIFF Ohana members April 5 and to the general public April 7. General tickets are $12, $10 for seniors, students and military, and $8 for HIFF Ohana.
