University of Hawaii Foundation adds 2 to board

HONOLULU — The University of Hawaii Foundation has added two members to its board of trustees.
The foundation on Tuesday announced the election of Arthur Ushijima and Elizabeth Hokada.
Ushijima is the president and CEO of The Queen’s Medical Center and The Queen’s Health Systems. Hokada is the director of financial assets at Kamehameha Schools.
The foundation is a nonprofit organization that raises private funds to support the University of Hawaii system.
It says its mission is to unite donors’ passions with University of Hawaii aspirations to benefit the people of Hawaii and beyond.
