Walmart Foundation seeks grant applications from Hawaii nonprofits

The charitable-giving arm of Walmart is soliciting grant applications from Hawaiçi nonprofits.

The Walmart Foundation is accepting applications for grants of at least $25,000 to qualified nonprofits.
Interested organizations may apply online at www.walmartfoundation.org.
The foundation especially focuses on funding efforts that address hunger, homelessness, education, job training and other basic needs.
Recipients last year included the Aloha United Way, American Diabetes Association, American Red Cross, Arizona Memorial Museum Association, Children’s Discovery Center, Hoçola Lahui Hawaiçi, Kualoa-Heeia Ecumenical Youth Project, Lanakila Rehabilitation Center and Special Olympics Hawaii.
