Hawaii Senate defers action on Kubo nomination for Circuit Court judge

Advertiser Staff

The state Senate today postponed a vote on the nomination of former U.S. Attorney Edward Kubo for Circuit Court judge.

Action was deferred a day after the Senate’s Judiciary and Government Operations Committee deadlocked 3-3 on Kubo’s nomination.
Kubo was in attendance today but declined comment after his nomination was deferred.
