Romantic sports comedy at Academy of Arts today

The Honolulu Academy of Arts is giving Honolulu another taste of Mumbai cinema with the 3rd Annual Bollywood Film Festival.

The festival opens tonight with a screening of director Anurag Singh’s debut film “Dil Bole Haddipa,” filled with the bright colors and dazzling musical numbers associated with Bollywood.
The romantic comedy about a girl who wants to play on an all-male cricket team will be shown in Hindi with English subtitles.
Bombay Restaurant is offering Indian food in the academy’s Pavilion Café at tonight’s festival opening and also when the festival closes March 2.
