Castle High holds recycling fundraiser

An “Aloha Aina Earth Day” recycling and community cleanup/fundraiser will be held 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Castle High School, 45-386 Kaneohe Bay Drive.
Recyclable waste will be accepted as a means to “turn trash into cash” for the school.
The following will be accepted at the site: scrap metal, bicycles, appliances, beverage containers and cooking oil. Also: cellular phones, printer cartridges, newspaper, cardboard, tires (passenger tires-limit 4 per car), plastic bags and hangers (8a-12p only), used eye glasses, hearing aids, all kinds of batteries, telephone books and magazines.
