Students in grades 9-12 are welcome to take practice SAT, PSAT and ACT exams Jan. 30 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at UH-Mänoa's Shidler College of Business. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with a $5 donation to cover the cost of testing materials. To register, e-mail the student's first and last name, current school, grade level, e-mail address and contact phone number to hcop@hawaii.edu. Indicate which test the student wants to complete. Checks may be made payable to Friends of Operation Manong.

HAWAII SELF STORAGE OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS

Hawaii Self Storage will offer 12 $1,000 scholarships to O'ahu public high school students. The scholarships will be renewable annually while attending college. Scholarships are available to students attending high schools in Salt Lake, Pearl City, Kaimukí, Mililani and Kapolei. The deadline for applications is Feb. 12. WINDWARD TEEN ARTS AWARDS ENTRIES ELIGIBLE FOR CASH PRIZES IN 5 CATEGORIES

The Windward Arts Council is accepting entries to the 22nd annual Teen Arts Achievement Awards competition, open to high school students who are residents of Windward O'ahu. Awards of $300 and $150 will be made in each of five categories: visual arts, music, dance, drama and literary. DANCE MASTER CLASS AT LEEWARD BEING CONDUCTED BY ARTISTIC DIRECTOR OF TROUPE
