3 Hawaii ukelele 'legends’ to play in one concert

“Ukulele Legends in Concert,” set for next month at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower Marketplace, will feature Bill Tapia, Eddie Kamae and the Sons of Hawaii, and Herb “Ohta-san.”
Performing on stage will be the 102-year-old ukulele virtuoso Tapia. He will be joined by 82-year-old Kamae and the Sons of Hawaii, and 75-year-old ukulele perennial Herb “Ohta-san” Ohta. Together they possess more than 200 years of ukulele experience.
This concert is a fundraiser for the Ukulele Foundation in Hawaii whose ultimate mission is to build and maintain a permanent Ukulele Museum here in Hawaii.
Doors will open for the Feb. 10 show at 6 p.m. Ticket options include “VIP front of stage seating with bento,” $65; rear section general admission seating, $30 (additional service charges may apply).
