Advertiser Staff

Funeral services for Nicholas Palumbo, the longtime Honolulu veterinarian who died Sunday in the crash of a small plane he was piloting, are scheduled Saturday at Star of the Sea Parish in Kahala.

Palumbo, 81, was a co-owner of The Cat Clinic in Kapahulu.
A memorial service with visitation begins at 11:30 a.m. with a service to follow at noon.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Easter Seals Hawaii or the Hawaiian Humane Society.
Palumbo’s son Timmy, 20, also died in the crash.
Palumbo is survived by his wife, Sue; sons, Billy, Charles, David, Joe and Nicholas III; daughters, Kay Daub and Nancy Earle; nine grandchildren; brothers, William and Joseph Palumbo; and sister, Helen Magnan.
