AAUW offers scholarship opportunity
The Diamond Head/Koko Head branch of the American Association of University Women invites women at the University of Hawai'i-Mänoa and Kapi'olani Community College to apply for a $500 scholarship. Kalihi-Pälama Public Library will change its public service schedule effective tomorrow due to a staffing shortage. EWA BY GENTRY HOLDS HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE
The Neighborhood Security Watch Team of Terrazza/Corte Bella/Tiburon/Las Brisas of Ewa By Gentry held its second Holiday Food Drive in December to benefit the Hawaii Foodbank. A total of 1,207 pounds of food and $1,084.20 in cash was collected.

COMMUNITY GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR 2010
The Kahuku Community Fund of the Hawai'i Community Foundation is now accepting grant proposals from nonprofit organizations. Preference will be given to projects that address a community need and benefit the Kahuku community. Deadline for submissions is Feb. 19.
