"Captain EO" and Michael Jackson are returning to Disneyland.

The Anaheim, Calif., park says it will show the 1986 Jackson musical beginning today and running indefinitely.

On the Disney Parks blog, Disney executive Heather Hust Rivera says the park will show a 70 mm print of the 17-minute movie in the Tomorrowland theater, with enhanced sound.

However, Rivera says the showing won't feature some special effects from the original presentation that can't be replicated. She did not elaborate in her blog message.

The original presentation included lasers and smoke.

Jackson, who died last year, plays the role of a spaceship captain who uses love and music to fight a witch queen played by Anjelica Huston.

The original ran at Disneyland from 1986 to 1997. The new showing replaces the 3-D show "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience."

In conclusion, the world has not ended and Leno will indeed have people to talk to, including former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Simon Cowell and the cast of "Jersey Shore."

The guests on Monday include Jamie Foxx, Olympic gold medal skier Lindsey Vonn and musician Brad Paisley.

WRESTLER’S WIFE CHARGED WITH ASSAULT

Police say the wife of pro wrestler Ric Flair has been charged with assaulting him in their North Carolina home.

In a statement, Flair called the incident an unfortunate disagreement and said he did nothing wrong.

Authorities say officers were called to Flair's home in south Charlotte on Sunday night. Flair said his wife attacked him after they went out for dinner. He suffered minor injuries, but refused treatment from paramedics.

Police charged Jacqueline Beems, 41, with simple assault. She was released from jail a few hours after her arrest.

The 60-year-old grappler nicknamed "The Nature Boy" is wrestling for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling after a long career with World Wrestling Entertainment.
