When Lance Rae took in the "Hair" revival on Broadway to see his pal, Jackie Burns, in the role of Sylvia, he wound up sitting next to "Hair" director Diane Paulus, who pulled him onstage for the post-show audience-participation "Let the Sunshine In" curtain call romp. "Forbidden City was very much like the Cotton Club in Harlem, except it was for Asians, Hawaiians, Filipinos and anyone who could pass for Asians," said Borges. TIGER TALK: Kristian Lei, the Island actress, has been playing Princess Nala in "The Festival of The Lion King" show at Hong Kong Disneyland for nearly six months now. Amid a culturally mixed cast, Lei has been learning Tagalog from her Filipino peers, Zulu from her African castmates, and Cantonese from the native Chinese. "I am blessed," she said, as she celebrated Chinese New Year and the launching of the Year of the Tiger. "Wong tsoi sau sau (good fortune); I experience something new each day." ...
