John Mayer is apologizing for his mouth.

The Grammy winner took to his Twitter page to make amends for his latest inflammatory comments — this time, in the March edition of Playboy.

In it, he calls former girlfriend Jessica Simpson "sexual napalm" and says Jennifer Aniston is a technophobe who wishes she could go back to her career prime in 1998. He also uses the N-word.

On Twitter yesterday, he apologized for the racial epithet and said he has to stop "trying to be so raw in interviews."

Mayer has made a habit out of outlandish comments. Last month, he gave an interview with Rolling Stone in which he talked openly about his love life, including sex with other women — and himself.

BRAZILIAN: MADONNA'S LOOKING GOOD, FOR 52

Madonna spent an hour talking about helping Brazil's poor children with a man who could become the nation's next president. He came away wowed by her youthful appearance.

Sao Paulo state Gov. Jose Serra is considered a likely entrant in the 2010 campaign to succeed Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

Yesterday, Madonna posed for photographers as Serra wrapped an arm around her. The singer didn't respond to questions about their meeting. Serra said Madonna expressed a desire to help needy young Brazilians after she toured a Sao Paulo center that helps kids.

Serra seemed most impressed by the 52-year-old Madonna's youthfulness. "She seems very young, much less than her (age)."

GUITAR GREATS NEARING ANOTHER CROSSROADS

Eric Clapton is hosting his third Crossroads Guitar Festival on June 26 in Chicago, inviting many of the same guests who appeared at the first two events, including B.B. King, Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, Vince Gill, Steve Winwood, Robert Cray and ZZ Top.

The event, benefiting Clapton's Crossroads Centre in Antigua for people with chemical dependencies, also will feature Sheryl Crow and Albert Lee, among others.

The first Crossroads Festival in Dallas in 2004 and its successor three years later in Chicago were filmed and released on DVD.

CELEB TRAINER SUED OVER DIET SUPPLEMENT

Jillian Michaels has been sued for alleged false advertising by a woman who claims she was duped into buying a diet supplement endorsed by the celebrity trainer.

Christie Christensen of Lake Elsinore, Calif., is seeking class-action status for the case she filed Tuesday in Los Angeles. Michaels is best-known as one of the stars of NBC's hit reality show, "The Biggest Loser."

Christensen's lawsuit claims she bought a product called "Jillian Michaels Maximum Strength Calorie Control" last month and that it has failed to lessen her appetite or cause her to lose weight as advertised.
