The 8th annual Waikiki Spam Jam is set for April 24 from 4 to 10 p.m. along Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki.

The event benefits the Hawaii Foodbank and the goal is to collect at least 10,000 cans of Spam and Spam products. Last year, an estimated 24,000 people attended the event, which includes entertainment, food booths and merchandise tents strung along the street.
