The University of Hawaii football team has received a commitment from placekicker Tyler Hadden of California High School in Whittier, Calif.

Hadden's parents told UH coaches that their son signed a national letter of intent and faxed it to the school Thursday night.
Hadden, who is 5 feet 11 and 175 pounds, was ranked No. 11 nationally by Chris Sailer Kicking School.
