Fire at 1-bedroom home causes $95,000 in damage
A one-bedroom home in Pähoa received nearly $95,000 in damage when it caught fire Saturday afternoon, Big Island firefighters said.
No one was injured in the fire at the approximately 900-square-foot home on Hinalo Street.
The fire was reported just after 2 p.m.
Ten Big Island firefighters from five units responded to the fire, which had fully engulfed the home, fire officials said.
