Abercrombie’s campaign said it had raised $860,000 in the last six months of 2009 and had more than $1 million available.
Candidates and noncandidate committees have until 11:59 p.m. tonight to file reports covering July through December 2009.
Hannemann has yet to announce whether he will run for governor.
Abercrombie will resign his seat on Feb. 28 to begin a full-time campaign for the governor’s office.
Lt. Gov. James “Duke” Aiona also has announced plans to seek the seat.
