Police arrested a 39-year-old McCully man yesterday after his ex-wife told them he pointed a pistol at her Monday morning and threatened to kill her.

The woman said the incident happened about 6:30 a.m.

In addition, the wife, 45, said her former husband followed her everywhere she went yesterday.

Police arrested the man without incident about 4:45 p.m. at his home on Young Street on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening and harassment.

The handgun had not been recovered at the time the arrest was made, police said.
