Police are investigating a complaint filed by a 20-year-old man who said he was robbed in Mililani Thursday night by a man he met via the Internet.

The man told police he agreed to meet with the other man in hopes of completing a sales transaction.

He said that once he got to the agreed-upon meeting place about 8:30 p.m., the other man pulled out what appeared to be a pistol and took his personal possessions before fleeing the area.

There were injuries and no arrests had been made as of this morning.

Police did not say what the man who filed the complaint was hoping to buy or sell.
