Deadline to sign up for next month's Visitor Industry Charity Walk is Monday.

The six-mile fun walk starts at 7 a.m. from Ala Moana Beach Park through Waikīkī and back on May 15. It will feature entertainment, food and goodies.

The cost to walk is $35 for adults and $25 for children.

CHAMINADE RUN SET

Chaminade University will hold its second Sue Wesselkamper Family 5K Fun Run/Walk May 1.

The event starts at 8 a.m. on the school's campus. It continues through Kaimukī and Pālolo Valley and returns to the campus. The event is open to the public, costs $20 and includes a T-shirt with proceeds to benefit the President Sue Wesselkamper Scholarship Fund.

JIU JITSU AT KAISER GYM

The Triple Crown Hawaii Jiu Jitsu Tournament, featuring competitors from the Mainland and Japan in all ages, is tomorrow at Kaiser High gym.

The tournament starts at 10 a.m. with the younger competitors and will feature 10 weight classes.

MāNOA HOOPS SIGN-UP

Registration for the Mānoa Boys Basketball League is May 2 from 9 a.m. to noon at Mānoa Valley District Park.

The league runs during the fall and is for youth ages 7 to 17 years old whose birth years are from 1993 to 2003.

The feee is $85 and there are no refunds.

JR. OLYMPIC BOXING

The Hawaii State/Regional Junior Olympic Boxing Championships will be held April 23 to 25 at Pālolo District Park gym.

Bouts and quarterfinals will be held April 23, with semifinals April 24.

Both days' action starts at 6 p.m. The finals will be held April 25 at 1 p.m.

Champions in the 15-16 age group advance to the USA National Junior Olympics in Camp Lejune, N.C., June 13 to 19.
