QUICK BITES
Le Guignol, Sapori expand hours

Two popular restaurants have announced new lunch service:

• Chef Ala Sutton e-mailed to say that Le Guignol French restaurant is bringing back lunch by popular demand, starting April 21. They'll serve lunch Wednesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. They also do takeout, catering and special events. For the lunch menu, go to www.leguignol.org. They're at 1010 S. King St., suite 108, corner of Victoria and King; phone 591-1809. (And if you've ever wondered how to pronounce it, it's "lay gee-ngohl.")

• Sapori, the newish spot in the former L'Uraku/'Elua location at 1341 Kapi'olani Blvd., will serve lunch on Fridays starting at 11 a.m. and remain open until 10 p.m. (that's a looooong lunch). The restaurant specializes in Mediterranean small plates by chef Donato Loperfido and in wine pairings selected by partner Cynthia Fenner. There's free crostini during the 4-6 p.m. happy hour and free Internet connection, too.
