Advertiser Staff

The Division of State Parks yesterday announced the start of its online camping and cabin permitting system.

The system allows users to check availability of all campsites and cabins and lets users pay by credit card.

To access the system, go to www.hawaiistateparks.org and click on "Online Reservations."

Camping reservations for 15 state parks can be made on this site. On O'ahu, the sites are Kahana State Park, Keaīwa Heiau State Recreation Area in 'Aiea Heights, Mālaekahana State Recreation Area near Kahuku and Sand Island State Recreation Area.
