Waipahu woman arrested in shooting, attempted theft
A 24-year-old Waipahu woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a shooting at Whitmore Village.
No one was injured in the shooting.
Police responded to a report of gunfire at 12:23 p.m. Saturday. They said an argument had broken out at a Whitmore Village residence and the woman fired several shots.
She then unsuccessfully tried to steal a 44-year-old man's truck, police said.
The woman and her boyfriend then fled in the boyfriend's vehicle. They were identified and arrested at 6:02 p.m. at 11 South Kamehameha Highway.
