Go! Mokulele taking off for Lāna'i

Go! Mokulele is planning to start two daily roundtrip flights between Honolulu and Lana'i in May.

Go! Mokulele said it will launch twice daily roundtrip flights between Honolulu and Lāna'i on May 20.

The carrier will offer an introductory one-way fare of $39 valid for travel May 20 through Aug. 31, with blackout dates on Fridays, Sundays and holidays. The regular one-way fare is $70.

Tickets must be purchased by April 16. Some restrictions apply.

Go! Mokulele currently flies between Honolulu and Hilo and Kona on the Big Island, and Maui, Kaua'i and Moloka'i.

CYANOTECH'S JACOBSON RESIGNS FROM BOARD

Cyanotech Corp. said its former president and chief executive officer, Andrew H. Jacobson, resigned from its board of directors on March 31.

Jacobson was removed as president and chief executive officer on Feb. 27 by the Kailua, Kona, company's board of directors. David I. Rosenthal has been appointed interim president and CEO while a search is conducted for a replacement.

CITY MILL TEAM WINS TOP SALES AWARD

The Honolulu chapter of Sales and Marketing Executives International has given its Sales Person of the Year Award jointly to the brother and sister team that runs City Mill Co.

Steven Ai, president and chief executive officer, and Carol Ai May, vice president and marketing manager, will be honored today at SMEI's annual luncheon at the Sheraton Waikiki Resort.

Founded in 1899 by Chung Kun Ai, City Mill has remained a Hawai'i-based, family-owned-and-operated business for three generations.

"Steven and Carol are a brother and sister team that has made great contributions to the Hawaii marketplace," said Kealii Fisette, SMEI Honolulu Chapter president.

HAWAII RESTORATIVE JOINS BELFOR

Hawaii Restorative, a restoration contractor with 25 companies, has become part of Belfor, the world's largest disaster recovery company.

The 'Aiea-based operation is adding Belfor's expertise in electronics restoration, document recovery and large-scale reconstruction to its emergency mitigation services. Belfor has offices in 27 countries worldwide, including the United States and Canada.
