Saint Louis School has named science teacher Ed Paola as its new athletic director, effective immediately.

Paola, who also has served as science department chair and summer school director, replaces Ulima Afoa, who was let go in late February after about 19 months on the job.

Paola has been at Saint Louis for five years and has 10 years experience in school administration, including a stint as an athletic director in Louisiana.
