The Battleship Missouri is to be drydocked at Pearl Harbor. The 887-foot battleship will temporarily close to visitor tours for three months to undergo maintenance, refurbishment and preservation work.

The Battleship Missouri Memorial opened to visitors more than 10 years ago and today welcomes nearly 400,000 visitors per year. When it reopens in January, Mighty Mo will feature significant improvements to both visitor and event experiences. The last day to visit the Battleship Missouri before drydocking is Oct. 9. MAUI WEDDING PACKAGE: The Old Wailuku Inn at Ulupono's new wedding package includes:

• All 10 rooms for one night (to a maximum of 20 guests; please inquire about children).

• Additional nights at $150 per room per night (maximum two people per room).

• Use of garden for ceremony and reception, large tent, tables, chairs, and linen, tiki torches, officiant, photographer and videographer.

The Inn will also arrange flowers, catering, music/entertainment for additional charges. Ceremony and reception hours are limited to between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., daily. Cost is $5,000.

ADDED FLIGHTS: Canada-based airline WestJet is offering a seasonal Saturday flight between Victoria, B.C., and Honolulu beginning Nov. 7. The airline will also increase the frequency of its Vancouver-Honolulu service to 11 flights a week in November and 12 flights a week in December. http://www.westjet.com.

• Air Canada will offer nonstop, seasonal service between Calgary, Alberta and Honolulu beginning Dec. 5. The airlines will offer up to two flights per week from Honolulu. This will be the only nonstop service offered between Calgary and Honolulu. http://www.aircanada.com.

• US Airways will begin its daily, nonstop service between Charlotte, N.C., and Honolulu on Dec. 17. US Airways also offers nonstop service between Phoenix and Honolulu. http://www.usairways.com.

• Interisland Airways now offers private air charter flights from O'ahu to Hilo, Kona and Kamuela on the Big Island, as well as to Lana'i, Moloka'i, Kahului, Maui, and Lihu'e, Kaua'i.
