The percussive show "STOMP" returns to Hawaii Theatre for a two-week engagement Dec. 22 to Jan. 3.
Tickets go on sale Oct. 2 for the popular show, which has been updated and includes two new routines using props like tractor tire inner tubes and paint cans.
The show has been touring since the late 1990s, attracting audiences by making music from instantly recognizable objects not generally considered musical instruments.
Tickets will be $35-$55, except on opening night when tickets are $15.25, $28 and $40. Group discounts are also available and $25 tickets will be available to students, teachers, senior citizens and military personnel for all shows except Dec. 22 and 23.
The Dec. 23 performance is a benefit for the Hawaii Food Bank, which will receive a portion of the proceeds. In addition, $5 discount will be given to each person who provides a canned food donation at the time of their ticket purchase for any performance.
