Nominate Hawaii residents for 'Spirit of Aloha' award until Oct. 2

The deadline for the first Aloha Festivals “Spirit of Aloha” Contest has been extended until Friday, Oct. 2. Nominations are sought for Hawaii residents who embody the Aloha Spirit in all aspects of their life; to submit a nomination, describe in 200 words or less why a nominee embodies the Aloha Spirit.
The top three nominees will be posted to the contest Web site for viewing and public voting.
On Friday, Oct. 9, the nominee with the most votes will receive the first ever “Spirit of Aloha” Award.
