Mild electric shock suspected in Salt Lake accident
The city’s EMS personnel responded to a call for a possible electric shock at 11:33 a.m. today at the Salt Lake Kmart store.
Paramedics arrived to find a male who appeared to be in his 50s who was conscious and responding appropriately. It appeared the male had injuries that were consistent with a mild electric shock, as well as fall from a height of approximately 10 feet, said Bryan Cheplic of the Honolulu Emergency Services Department.
Paramedics treated and stabilized the male patient and transported him to a hospital in stable condition, Cheplic said.
