Waikiki Beach Marriott employees raise $20K for Kapiolani Medical Center

The employees of the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa raised $20,300 for Kapi�olani Children�s Miracle Network.

Employees in each of the hotel's departments sold a wide variety food items, including bentos, baked goods, spam musubi and boiled peanuts to raise the funds.
A ceremony is scheduled for Monday to present the check to Kapi�olani Children�s Miracle Network, the fundraising arm of Kapiolani Medical Center.
Waikiki Beach Marriott�s contribution is part of Marriott�s Spirit to Serve program, which works to foster goodwill in communities where Marriott International does business. In 2008, Marriott Resorts Hawaii employees, customers and partners gave more than $1.5 million to community and charity groups throughout the state.
