CINCINNATI In only 27 seconds, Denver went from a crushing loss to an unbelievable win.
Brandon Stokely caught a tipped pass and outran Cincinnatis shocked defenders for an 87-yard touchdown with 11 seconds left Sunday, giving the Broncos a 12-7 victory over a Bengals team that thought it had this one in the pocket.
One deflection snatched it away.
After Cedric Bensons 1-yard touchdown run put Cincinnati ahead 7-6 with 38 seconds left, Kyle Orton in line to shoulder the blame for a Denver loss threw a hopeful pass that bounced the Broncos way. His throw to Brandon Marshall was tipped in the air by cornerback Leon Hall and deflected right into Stokelys arms.
He ran sideways for several steps before crossing into the end zone, eating up a few more seconds before stealing the win away.
