64-year-old husband charged for stabbing attack on his wife
Police have charged a 64-year-old man with second-degree attempted murder in the stabbing of his wife at their Waipahu home.
Police charged Sol Herminio, 64, in the incident, which occurred about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Witnesses called police after hearing the woman screaming. They told police they also saw the suspect struggling with a knife.
The woman suffered several stab wounds and was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in critical condition. She was later upgraded to serious condition.
