More than 160 soldiers with the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the 25th Infantry Division will return from a year-long Iraq deployment Tuesday.

A ceremony to welcome the soldiers home is set for Tuesday morning at Schofield Barracks. The ceremony marks the beginning of the return of about 3,400 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat team soldiers who deployed to Iraq in October 2008.
During their deployment, the soldiers operated in Salah ad Din Province in northern Iraq.
They completed about 230 projects aimed at improving the quality of life for Iraqis, including school renovations, electricity infrastructure improvements and enhancements to hospitals and clinics.
