CFB: TE Mosley leaves Oklahoma State football team

STILLWATER, Okla. Sophomore tight end Jamal Mosley has left the Oklahoma State football team a week after a woman filed for a protective order against him.
Coach Mike Gundy cited only personal reasons Tuesday as he announced Mosleys departure. Gundy said he would not comment further.
According to documents on the Oklahoma State Courts Network Web site, a woman filed for a protective order against Mosley last Tuesday in Payne County. Her request was granted and Mosley was served with the order the next day. A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
Oklahoma State officials have not linked Mosleys departure to the protective order, which is under seal. University spokesman Gary Shutt declined to comment.
The 6-foot-4, 254-pound Mosley is from Memphis, Tenn. Last season he played in 11 games, catching five passes for 57 yards.
Mosley was listed atop the Cowboys depth chart released earlier this week, meaning he was in line to start for No. 9 Oklahoma State in its season opener on Saturday against No. 13 Georgia.
Sophomore Wilson Youman now is expected to start at tight end.
