An 18-year-old man with no local address was arrested yesterday in connection with an incident Tuesday night in which a 33-year-old man told police a stranger grabbed the money out of his hand that he had just withdrawn from an ATM in Waikiki.

Police said the man who withdrew the money contacted police immediately but the suspect had run away by the time officers arrived at the scene.
The man who lost the money spotted the suspect in Waikiki about 8 p.m. last night and this time police were able to apprehend him.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft.
