Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o, a freshman from La‘ie, had nine tackles — including two solo — in a 20-16 football victory over Boston College today at South Bend, Ind.

Te'o, a Punahou School alum, had 2.5 tackles for loss for 10 yards, one pass breakup and one quarterback hurry.
Teo, who started his fourth consecutive game, has played in all seven Fighting Irish (5-2) games this season and is team's fourth leading tackler (33) with 12 solo tackles and 21 assisted tackles.
