MADONNA NEIGHBOR SUES OVER NOISE

One of Madonna's New York neighbors says the superstar's loud music and frequent dance sessions are causing a commotion.

Karen George, of Manhattan, lives above Madonna in a building next to Central Park.

She said in a lawsuit filed Friday against the building's co-op board that the Material Girl is using her apartment as a rehearsal studio, subjecting neighbors to "blaring music, stomping and shaking walls" for up to three hours each day.

George complained about "unreasonably high-decibel, amplified music" and vibrations pouring through walls, ceilings and radiators.

The building's board says it has already threatened to evict Madonna.

Spike TV honored vampires, space rangers and comic-book heroes at Scream 2009.

The star-studded event held yesterday at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles will air as a two-hour special on Oct. 27. Hugh Jackman, Quentin Tarantino, Tobey Maguire and Megan Fox made appearances and world-premiere footage from the new "Twilight" film was featured.

Horror-film pioneer George Romero received the Scream Mastermind award, comic-book legend Stan Lee garnered the Comic-Con Icon award and Keith Richards was presented with the Rock Immortal award at the fourth annual event.

'SOUTH PACIFIC' STAFFER CHARGED IN PEEPING

A stage manager on the Broadway production of "South Pacific" has been charged with secretly recording an actress in her dressing room.

Michael Brunner was arraigned late Friday in New York City on a charge of unlawful surveillance.

He ducked questions from reporters as he left the courthouse.

The New York Post reports that Brunner turned himself in for questioning after the actress found a camera phone recording her as she changed.

The 54-year-old Brunner had earned praise for his work on the classic World War II musical, now running at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
