�Princess Ka'iulani Suite� premieres this weekend

The Honolulu Symphony Orchestra will premiere Academy Award winner Stephen Warbeck�s �Princess Ka'iulani Suite� this weekend to celebrate Hawai'i�s 50th anniversary of statehood and the debut of the locally produced film �Barbarian Princess� at the Honolulu Film Festival.

Guest conductor Gerald Schwarz of the Seattle Symphony will lead the concerts at 8 tonight and 4 p.m. tomorrow. In addition, pianist Arnaldo Cohen will be featured in the program, which includes Liszt�s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Tchaikovsky�s Symphony No. 6 �Path�tique.�
Tickets are $19 to $70 and are available at Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 800-745-3000 and online at www.ticketmaster.com and www.honolulusymphony.com. In addition, $10 student or child tickets and 20 percent senior and military discounts may be available at the box office before concert time.
